Builder journey

Harsh Agrawal, a passionate developer and entrepreneur from Faridabad, India, has a story that truly inspires. His love for technology started early, rooted in his fascination with games.

As an 8th grader, Harsh was a game freak, spending hours after school immersed in Flash games. One day, he felt a spark to create his own game, leading him to learn Unity3D (a game development software).

His journey began with small steps, learning and building simple games, which he proudly published on the Play Store.

In high school, Harsh's world expanded when he was introduced to C++. His passion for game development pushed him to learn more than what was taught in school, turning to Harvard's CS50 course to quench his thirst for knowledge.

This dedication led him to coding bootcamps, where he immersed himself in programming. Within three months, his hard work paid off when he landed an internship and a job offer from Avalara.

At Avalara, Harsh's skills grew as he worked on full-stack applications and data pipelines. It was here that he noticed the challenges developers faced, sparking the idea for his next big project.

In 2022, with determination and vision, Harsh founded DevKit. He dedicated three intense months to its development, and his efforts were rewarded.

DevKit was selected as one of the Top 16 projects out of 7,500+ entries in buildspace s2, and it secured $10,000 in funding from zFellows. This project even caught the attention of potential investors like a16z, Sequoia, TechStars, and Goldman Sachs. With over $5,000 in revenue, DevKit continues to thrive.

Harsh's journey didn't stop there. He is currently working on TechKareer.com, a platform aimed at enhance the screening and recruitment process.
